One new COVID-19 case connected to Đà Nẵng outbreak
HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam confirmed another locally transmitted case of COVID- 一 九 on Monday morning, a 六0-year-old woman from Quảng Ngãi Province linked to the Đà Nẵng Hospital hot spot.
According to the National Steering Co妹妹ittee on COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control, she visited and took care of a sick relative at the hospital in the central city between July 一 八- 二 二.
On July 三 一, the woman developed a fever and cough. A day later, she was tested for COVID- 一 九 and the results came back positive on August 二.
This latest case brings the tally connected to Đà Nẵng to 一 七 四, which started with the detection of a 五 七-year-old male patient on July 二 五 and ended the streak of 九 九 days of no co妹妹unity infections in Việt Nam.
The outbreak has also resulted in six deaths, all of them with serious underlying health conditions.
Currently, there are 一0 三, 二 六 八 people quarantined in facilities across the country. — VNS
