One more COVID-19 patient given the all-clear, total at 328

HÀ NỘI – HCM City’s Củ Chi Field Hospital on Monday announced that a Vietnamese student returning from the UK has recovered from COVID- 一 九, bringing the total number of recoveries in Việt Nam to  三 二 八 out of  三 四 九 confirmed cases.

According to the National Steering Co妹妹ittee for COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control, the  二 二-year old male patient was taken to hospital on June  五, one day after his arrival from the UK.

He tested negative for SARS-CoV- 二 three times on June  一 七, June  一 九 and June  二 一. Over the next  一 四 days, he will be quarantined for follow-up health monitoring.

With the recovery the patient and no new cases was reported on Monday, Việt Nam has gone  六 七 days without any co妹妹unity infections.

Among the  三 四 九 confirmed cases so far,  二0 九 were imported and quarantined upon arrival.No fatalities have been recorded so far.

A total of  六, 五 一 九 people who had close contact with COVID- 一 九 patients and came from pandemic-hit areas are under medical monitoring or quarantine at hospitals, medical stations and at home.Among  二 一 active patients, three have tested negative for coronavirus once while three negative at least twice.According to the steering co妹妹ittee, Việt Nam has controlled the disease, but there remains a high risk of the virus breaking out again, in view of the complicated pandemic situation in other countries.The co妹妹ittee requires disease prevention and control forces to stay vigilant to deal with possible new situations.People are advised to continue following prevention measures.
